Career exploration works best when it is treated not as a decision point, but as a developmental process that begins earlier and builds over time. Hands-on engineering is often discussed as a goal, but not always as a practical option. Many programs have experienced the two extremes: expensive equipment that sits unused due to complexity, or limited materials that restrict learning to surface-level activities. This is where easily implemented, well-designed engineering projects play an important role.
